Graphics in Magazines

 In this activity we studied the graphics used in a magazine, we focused mainly on the cover. some of the most basic elements on a magazine cover are text, the magazine title, and images. the image usually covers the whole cover and the text is layered on top. The majority of the magazines i've seen have the text contrast greatly with the image to make the text more prominent. There are also different fonts, and different font sizes. Larger fonts were used for titles, smaller ones were used to describe the articles inside the magazine. Magazine's are highly image oriented, there were only three pages that didn't contain an image out of 83 pages. Also a large portion of magazines consist of ads, in my magazine there were 37 ads.
